In order for the previous tip on this list to work, "Find My Phone" must be turned on in advance, but remotely wiping your device isn't the only thing this feature allows you to do. The coverage maps should show geographical areas where the company offers wireless voice and broadband services. This mandate is part of TRAI’s revised Quality of Service (QoS) Regulations for telecom operators that were implemented on October 1, 2024. “Every service provider providing access service (wireless) shall publish on its website the service-wise geospatial coverage maps in such a manner and format, as may be directed by the Authority from time to time, for the geographical areas where wireless voice or wireless broadband service is available for subscription by consumers,” said the TRAI directive. “Availability of service-wise geospatial coverage map on service provider’s website for percentage of working cells (Benchmark ≥ 99%) with effective from 1st April 2025,” added the directive. Coverage Map Availability According to the guidelines, if in any area, coverage technologies like 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G are available, the unified coverage map should show the area with 5G. “The cell coverage of respective technology (2G/ 3G/ 4G/ 5G) shall be presented on the coverage map in the prescribed colour scheme, having the minimum prescribed signal strength (measured outdoors),” added the directive. Speaking at the inception workshop in Abuja with the theme, ‘Abating Greenhouse Gas Emissions from Obsolete Refrigeration and Air conditioning Equipment in Ghana and Nigeria (AGORA)’ National Ozone Officer, Federal Ministry of Environment, Mr. Idris Abdullahi, said the project is aimed at creating a future where energy-efficiency and climate-friendly cooling and refrigeration technologies will be of standard. According to him, the project is also an avenue to promote energy-efficient and low global warming potential (GWP) technologies by strengthening policies that facilitate the transition to reduce the emission of greenhouse gases. Abdullahi who disclosed that the project is at its initial stage and will last up to three years said, “The project presents another opportunity to further advance the promotion of Energy Efficient and Low GWP technologies in the RAC sector by establishing and strengthening policies, regulations and partnerships.” He recalled that Nigeria is a party to the Montreal Protocol on Substances that deplete the Ozone Layer and has ratified all its amendments, the recent being the Kigali amendment on phase-down of Hydrofluorocarbons, which are greenhouse gases used mainly as cooling agents in the refrigeration and air conditioning sector. The number of countries impacted by the hack is currently believed to be in the “low, couple dozen,” according to a senior administration official. The official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity under ground rules set by the White House, said they believed the hacks started at least a year or two ago. The suggestions for telecom companies released Tuesday are largely technical in nature, urging encryption, centralization and consistent monitoring to deter cyber intrusions. If implemented, the security precautions could help disrupt the operation, which has been dubbed Salt Typhoon, and make it harder for China or any other nation to mount a similar attack in the future, experts say. If San Francisco doesn’t get healthy and eliminate the errors that led to to the Packers, the focus will turn from playoff permutations to what offseason changes are necessary. “I think everyone understands completely outside and inside what the situation is,” coach Kyle Shanahan said Monday. “That’s why the Seattle game was so tough of a loss and that’s why last night was even worse. We know what we got ahead of us. We know exactly what the playoff situation is. That is what it is. But really, all that matters is this week when you do need to go on a run and put a lot of wins to even think of that.” The task doesn’t get any easier as the Niners (5-6) get set to play at Buffalo on Sunday night. The 49ers are hoping to get , Nick Bosa and Trent Williams back for that game, but their presence alone won’t fix everything that .
